At the beginning of the year, I had almost no skills regarding any Adobe programs. I had learned the basics of Illustrator in high school but that was it. Now, I realize that I have gained so many useful skills throughout the semester and I would feel confident if anyone asked me to use these programs.

Website

The purpose of creating a website was to have a place to post all of the assignments and projects we created thorughout the semester. We were told to create a “theme” for our website and I chose the topic of myself, creating a portfolio website of some sort.

Photography and Photoshop

Following with the topic of myself, I created a collage of recent pictures of myself that I thought represented who I was and what my site was.

Graphic Design and Illustrator

Using Illustrator, I created a logo for my website. Again, since the site revolves around myself, I used my own initials and name.

Podcasting and Audition

The topic of my “podcast” was sorority recruitment, simply because that was going on at that point in my life. I interviewed one of my friends and added catchy music.

Video and Premiere Pro

For my video, choosing to do the tutorials benefited me a lot since I am only familiar with iMovie. I chose to do A Day in the Life of a Student because it is clearly something I am familiar with.

Resume

I already had a resume prepared and up to date including my job experience, education, skills and awards recieved.
